屋顶农场：The Red Roof

项目位于越南广义市，是一座占地80平方米的小房子。这是一个生活条件艰苦的农村地区，天气炎热，有时有漫长的雨季和洪水季节。

The project is a small house on an area of 80m2 in Quang Ngai, Vietnam. This is a rural area with difficult living conditions with hot weather and sometimes there are long rainy and flood seasons.

客户是为一对50多岁的夫妇，他们从出生起就住在这个农村地区，因此他们的生活习惯是与大自然息息相关的，日常活动有园艺、晒稻、养鸡等。

The house is meant for a married couple over 50s who has been living in this rural area since they were born. Connecting with nature, daily activities are gardening, paddy drying, chicken breeding etc.

在一个小场地，房子需要很多复杂的功能。我们没有像村里其他房子那样有一个大院子，而是创造了许多不同高度的庭院，以适应房子结构的高度。来自花园的产品直接用于日常膳食，新鲜且随时可用。令我们惊讶的是，建筑所生产的农副产品在街道内产生了互动行为，很多时候，业主会在收获后与邻居家庭分享他们的产品，他们也很享受在一起种植食物的快乐时光，特别是在雨季。

In a small site, the house needs a lot of complex functions. Instead of having a large yard like other houses in the village, we create many courtyards with different heights, suitable for the height of the house structure. The products from the garden go directly to everyday meal, fresh and always avail-able. The couple have happy hours together growing their own food, and a lot of times, sharing their products with the neighbor families, unexpectedly, the architecture has been generating com-munity social interactions as its by-product. Specially, during the rainy season, there is still food available.

屋顶花园也有隔热的作用，与波纹钢屋顶相比，屋内温度明显比传统屋顶低，此外，屋顶的绿色覆盖结构减少了对环境的热辐射。项目还结合了两层墙体，在其上打开通风口和建造庭院，在有自然采光的同时保证了房子始终是通风的。

Rooftop garden also have a role to insulate the house. The internal temperature is significantly re-duced compared to the corrugated steel roof. Besides, a green covering structure of the roof reduce heat radiation to the environment. Combined with the 2-layer wall, there are ventilation openings on the wall and courtyards with natural lighting, so the house is always airy.

在越南的传统景观中，红色的赤陶土房子代表了一段时期的地方建筑风格。然而，城市化改变了这个村庄的建筑和生活空间。如今，新的钢屋顶多层住宅似乎已经失去了乡村景观的身份，因此“红屋顶”项目的意图是保留和提醒人们熟悉的乡村生活方式。

In Vietnamese traditional landscape, the red terracotta houses represented for a time of regional lo-cal architecture. However, urbanization has changed the architecture and living space of this village. Now new multi-story houses with steel roofs seem to have lost the identity of village landscape, so project “THE RED ROOF” has the intent to keep, to store and remind the familiar rural lifestyle.
